Pastor Willie Underwood is a native of Arcadia, Louisiana. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance from Grambling State University in Grambling, LA and a Bachelor’s degree in Theology/Biblical Counseling from the College of Biblical Studies in Houston, Texas. Pastor under accepted the call into the gospel ministry and was ordained at True Grace Bible Church in Houston Texas. Pastor Underwood has served on the Houston Jr. Chamber of Commerce Board. He has served on the Teacher, Parent, and Community Advisory Committee for the Spring Branch Independent School District Board. Pastor Underwood’s passion for Christian Education and Biblical Counseling led him to partner with the Director of Troubled Teenagers within the Juvenile Prison System to minister to and provide Biblical counseling to the detainees. He has served as Board Chairman of the First Service Credit Union. As pastor, he provides leadership support in the continued development and growth of True Grace Bible Church. He was Vice President, Commercial Operations, CenterPoint Energy, prior to retiring in 2015. He continues to be all that God allows him to be.
